I mean, how would you feel if you lived in America, and America got favor at 10:30PM but you couldn't do FoW or UW because you have to go to bed for school the next day?

hahhaahhahaa!! omg dude... i made a whole new account to put onto euro servers, kuz america never has favor, we dont get it till you go to sleep! sad really :P anyways i made a 55 on it, but im not sure if i can still do uw 2 man farm, i think its nerfd from the last update

the /favour would be a very usefull function, as would some new emotes. they may be usless but hell it gives you something to do while you wait for the AFK'er to get back. as for the graphic engine... hey it beats the heck out of the old MUD's. and when they start putting more emphasis on pretty then on story line you land up with half the games that are on the market today.
as for what i think could improve the whole PVE experince, i think anet needs to start looking at what they can do within the three settings they have given us. its all well and good to be the protector of tyria/cantha/elona but after that they only thing left to do is crunch away for new skills, better items, more gold, and stronger alcohole. and hey in the end you have some worthless green items, a raging hangover and some level 5 pleb asking you to run him because he doesnt want to fight his way across the land as you had to 15 months ago.
but back on topic what we have here is three very distinct areas that seem to have no cross-over in story line and dont impact each other in anyway. what would be really nice is once you have completed all three games, new quests become available. quests that span across all three continents.
i can thumb suck stories that would require very little extra work on anets part at all. an example of this could be :
Corsairs from elona having heard of the plague in cantha have decided that it would be ripe for the plucknig especially as they have no armed forces left. now here already the two places have become linked, with quests spanning across the two as you rush to unravel the mess, only to find out that the whole invasion has been funded by the white mantle who are looking to build up a foreign power base.
the whole thing wouldnt require major work on anets side, it would just be some changes in scripts, and a few tweaks in the explorable instances. hey throw in some really wierd looking greens and you would have people dusting off old characters ad pulling them out of retirement, a sudden rush of people who need to get there dervishes through cantha and tyria. it would revitalize the old areas, and create the feeling that there is more then just getting the title protector of tyria.

Well, they give you the messsage anytime you enter that areas, it would be really easi adding a comand to ask the sistem to retrieve that line for you.
(Well... in my entire gameplay I've never seen the favor of gods taken by any other region, though...)

Why this would be useful:
Example: You just made a new Ranger and you're in pre-searing,and you want to do UW for a bit, you obviously cant go to ToA, if you can do /favor you dont have to log out, log in, check if you have favor (on your char(s) that have ToA) , and if you don't, log out again, log in again, and (for Example) do some more pre-searing.

You don't have to wait between oses of the /bonus command, and I'm pretty sure that takes much more time.
And you receive the message anytime you enter one of these areas, even f you travel between dsitrictcs, and that can take less than 5 seconds.
The 'favor' string is already implemented. /favor would only trigger it.

People like you are the reason why things get implemented in the first place.
You stated that this would not benefit you at all, but it would benefit others. You /signed.
Thank you. So many people say "This is gay I wouldn't use it. No." instead of what you did, seeing how it would benefit the community as a whole rather than just yourself.

This would be useful. I find it rather embarrassing when I kneel in front of one of the shrines in PvE and nothing happens. Although that's just convenience.

But the dude above me needs to have a serious mischief done upon him. Gaile rules and disrespect and offensiveness like that should not be tolerated.
